Join a Paraclete Group
In the Bible a “paraclete” is a helper who comes alongside us, advocates for us, and creates space for us to receive God’s power. This is what God’s Spirit does for us. And we’re invited to do this for each other. Victoria Mejia - LaFe’s Associate Director of Leadership Development - is creating a series of spaces where you can connect with a few other Latino ministry leaders to “paraclete” each other and receive the presence, advocacy and engagement of God’s Spirit. Four dates are available. Spaces are limited.

Embracing our African Roots and Heritage
As Latinos, we are an ethnically and racially diverse people created in the image of God for his glory in the world. Despite this the residual impact of colonization, the pervasiveness of white supremacy, and our internalization of those ideologies have distorted our view of ourselves and our people. In this seminar, we hope to create a space for honesty as we share our stories; allow Jesus to heal and redeem those parts of our identity that are broken; and learn how to pursue reconciliation within our own communities. (June 30th & July 2nd 1-2:30pm ET)
